FINDING US AT UNL
Our lab is located in the south-east corner of Memorial Stadium between Gates 22 and 23. If you are standing in the large horseshoe-shaped parking lot in front of the stadium, we are on the left side of the stadium. When you arrive you will go in through the doors with the large NCB3 sign (pictured below). Walk through the small lobby and through another glass door where you will see a reception area. Kaye will probably be behind the front desk to greet you, you can let her know that you are here for a research study with the Memory Lab. Please have a seat on one of the couches. A member of our lab staff will either be able to greet you at your arrival or we will be there shortly. If you are going to be early or late, please let us know by calling or texting 402-417-0050.
TAKING THE BUS
There are two bus stops that are conveniently located to the the lab. The first is at Vine Street & North 14th Street (called "East Bus Stops" in the image below) and the second is at Stadium Drive & T Street (called "West Bus Stop" in the image below). To plan your route, please visit the StarTran website.
IF ARRIVING AT THE VINE & N. 14th STREET BUS STOP
If you are dropped off at one of the East Bus Stops (Vine Street & North 14th Street north or south), walk west down Vine Street toward the stadium (you should be able to see it). Walk straight and once you reach the large horseshoe parking lot, walk on the sidewalk until you reach Memorial Stadium. Veer to the left and follow the CB3 signs on the side of the building. When you reach the doors to CB3, please let yourself in and come into the reception area.
IF ARRIVING AT THE STADIUM DRIVE & T STREET BUS STOP
If you are dropped off at one of the West Bus Stop (Stadium Drive & T Street), you will need to walk toward the east along the South side of Memorial Stadium (this means the stadium will be to your left). Walk on the sidewalk that takes you along the South side of the stadium so that is it on your left. At the end of the sidewalk, you will reach a fork in the road. Take the left route and continue to walk so that the stadium is to your left. The doors to CB3 will be around the corner and on your left. [Note: the North 10th Street and T Street bus stop is just block farther west from teh Stadium Drive & T Street stop, so is another good option]
IF YOU DRIVE TO YOUR APPOINTMENT
Free parking for research participants is available directly to the east of the Stadium. You will enter the parking lot at the intersection of 14th Street and Vine Streets. Follow the red arrows in the diagram below to reach our designated parking spots. Reserved parking spaces will have a posted “East Stadium Research Labs” signs (see below). These signs will be located on your right as you drive in. You are free to choose any parking spot in this location with this sign.
Before leaving your vehicle, make sure you know your license plate number and the make/model of your vehicle. Walk toward Memorial Stadium. Veer to the left and follow the CB3 signs on the side of the building. When you reach the doors to CB3, please let yourself in and come into the reception area.
Once inside, you will see a clipboard with the Visitor Parking Log on the desk. Please fill out all of the information (date, vehicle color, vehicle make, vehicle model, licesnse plate number, your phone number, and the time you arrive) as this is how the parking department knows that you are permitted to park in a reserved space.
