Age + Memory

In this study we are recruiting participants 45-85 years old. Participants will complete both an MRI and memory testing. This study evaluates novel imaging tools to enhance our understanding of brain-behavior relationships in memory.

Brain + Memory Changes with Hormone Fluctuation

This study is recruiting participants 18-40 years old with unaltered menstrual cycles. Participants complete ovulation tracking and two sessions that include an MRI, memory testing, and a blood draw to evaluate sex hormone levels. This study investigates microstructural brain changes that occur across the female menstrual cycle.

Traumatic Brain Injury + Memory

This study is recruiting participants 18-55 years old with a history of traumatic brain injury. Participants will complete an MRI, memory testing, or both. This study investigates brain changes and alterations in memory that may occur with a history of traumatic brain injury. At this time recruitment is happening at the University of Illinois and Vanderbilt University Medical Center, we hope to start a UNL branch soon.

Mild Cognitive Impairment + Memory

At this time, data collection for this study is taking place at the University of Delaware. This study explores the impact of exercise on brain and behavior for individuals ages 60-90 with and without mild cognitive impairment.

Concussion + Divers

At this time, data collection for this study recruiting collegiate female divers is taking place at the University of Illinois. Participants complete ovulation tracking and two sessions (pre and post season) that include an MRI, memory testing, and a blood draw to evaluate sex hormone levels. This study investigates possible brain changes that occur after repetitive, sub-concussive hits accompanying a season of diving.
